Books that I'm reading for Q1 in 2019
Ah 2019 is the year I don’t read only non-fiction! That’s been a goal of mine. Being in grad school has its challenges, for starters MBA students mostly read about facts and numbers. Whomp! Here are the five books I’m reading in Q1 of the New year
Song of Solomon Toni Morrison
Toni Morrison is always on Oprah’s favorite books list. Song of Solomon is a tail about maturity and coming into age.
The Stranger- Albert Camus
Philosophy for Sociopaths is an interesting read. So good it won Nobel Peace Prize. Who what have thought a Law and Order SVU: Algeria Unit would be so complicated?
The Good Earth- Pearl S. Buck
Another one of Oprah’s favorite authors. This is a story about a couple in rural China in 1920s. the cool part about the book is that it’s a graphic adaptation
The Art of Tidying Up
Okay I couldn’t go all fiction. To tidy or not to tidy? From reading this book I’ve learned that I judge way too much. Like people’s finances tidying is a process.
Honorable mention
Reading Berkshire Hathaways Annual letters. We out here learning about securities.
