Beirut

If the OC was still on or Laguna Beach Beirut would be on the soundtrack and then Hipsters would be pissed off because Beirut would never play for them. The truth is he would. He makes money. And a Hipster put Beirut on the show to tolerate the fact that they work for MTV or a teen show.

It’s excited to see if the Beirut comes back with a kick, the last album was average, but the hope that this one makes me reminisce of my California past.

Chance the Rapper

Every day the mini bae and I have been singing 65th and Ingleside, anticipating for the next album. Fortunately, we had two Christmas Albums to listen to in December. Coloring Book is the one rap album I can play in front of my entire family and friends. Looking forward to listening to it.

Schoolboy Q

Sometimes, when I listen to Schoolboy Q, I feel like I’m in a warped version of Alice in Wonderland. Like the walls are slowly moving, and there are random artifacts in my life like a talking squirrel. I want to go to there

The Cure

Do you know what London music represents? Rain. There is no country of folks that perfected the sound of rain. James Blake, The Smiths, and our boo boos the Cure. Excited to bust out the Martins and vibe out.

Toro Y Moi

I want to be invited into New York’s Hottest art exhibits. Where I don’t really understand most of the art, but I purchased something from Urban Outfitters and realized I was too old to wear it. I change my clothes to all black, have a Vera Wang look get to the art exhibit and they play a Toro Y Moi song and I feel like I should be there.

Excited to listen to in 2019, but was living under a rock

SOB x RBE

There are great things that have come Vallejo, California: Marine World Africa USA, Mac Dre and  SOBx RBE. I’m excited to hyphy my way into 2019. Gangin.
