One Month Reflection: January

I’m about to Beyonce myself out of January.

I’m about to Beyonce myself out of January.

Trying to have it all as a Women of Color. I love HBO’s Insecure each season has its own set of drama. Between failed relationships and dissatisfaction at work it an honest reflection of turning 28 to 31 without the American Dream.

As this month is coming to an end, I decided to be honest and expose my insecurities.

I’m doing a lot. I’m forced myself to finish my MBA, study for an investment exam, oh a publish a book all before April. Trying to find a job before getting my MBA. Trying to be positive when things aren’t going to plan is hard. I’m producing a podcast, I have a blog, I’m hustling. It feels like I’m alone and I think I’m doing too much.

There are a couple of things that are holding me together. I do have a supportive partner. I also have a business bestie and I have a good community, so even when I’m running on e-⛽ I always manage to find a cheerleader. February, bring it on!
