Study Habits Even When You Have a Full Time Life

What a perfect time to study for the series 65! During the economic shutdown. It has occurred to me that it’s never the right time to do the thing you love, which is why people alway say that one should fail forward. One never knows what they get into, until they fail. What a benefit that is, in order to succeed you must fail flat on your face to do.

There are a couple of systems that I have put in place that I would like to share with you.

Bullet Journal

The problem with most planners is that no matter how hard one tries to follow through with a planner, they don’t. This is not referred to my planner types that get a high off of plans, this is for my go with the flow folks. Personally, I would say that I in the middle. I like structure, but too much makes me angry. The bullet journal does just that.

Created by Ryan, a guy who suffered from ADHD and figured out how to narrow his thoughts in one central place. The Bullet Journal has over 2 million avid journalist. Some journals are super cute and some 🥰 are very practical.

It’s been three months since I’ve started the journal and I’ve seen vast improvements in organizing my thoughts. What made my brain explode 🤯 is the simplicity of it all. Here’s a great intro to the BUJO way of life.

Study Calendar

It doesn’t matter what you read, unless you can draw it and map it out. Currently I’m studying for the test for 5 1/2 weeks. I drew out a calendar and wrote the entire 5 1/2 weeks. In the calendar it includes the days that I have papers due for my MBA and Rewards that I am giving to myself one which involves seeing Whitney Cummings.

Meal Prep for Exams

Prepping for meals can be the worst, but it doesn’t have to be. Here’s a list of groceries and it cost the first week about 40 bucks.

Breakfast

oatmeal

eggs

Snack

trail mix

Bars

Lunch

Vegan Burritos

Kale Salad or

Power bowl

Dinner

Spaghetti

Ramen Noodles

Soup

Pretty simple stuff

Affirmations

Not a fan of Affirmations? Me neither, but I’ve included that in my study habits, and it actually helps me stay focus.
